My name is Jan Venter and A Traveller's View is a website to showcase my photography.
I was born and raised in South Africa and educated in Architectural Technology. In 2003 I moved to London to pursue a career in photography. In 2004 I started working as a professional photographer, specialising in Architecture and Interior Photography. Living in London started to fuel my passion for travel. Being from South Africa, I have travelled to a few countries Southern Africa, but this was before he was introduced to travel photography
Early 2012 I decided to give up the security of full time employment in exchange for freelance photography and travel. I prefer to travel slow, so there is only a handful of countries I've been to in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Late 2012 I was introduced to scuba diving, fell in love with it and quickly advanced to became a Divemaster, and in September 2015, became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. Now I am a Freelance Master Scuba Diver Instructor and Underwater Photographer. I have also done some video work, including underwater videos, which can be viewed on his Youtube
For any potential employers in the scuba industry, my C.V. can be downloaded here
